Grand Cayman is known for its world-class Scuba Diving with ideal water temperatures of 78 degrees in the winter to 84 degrees in the summer and visibility of up to 100 feet.
Most of Grand Cayman's best known dive sites are located on the "Famous Cayman Walls" with have vertical drop-offs to the floor bottom over 1,500 feet below! There are also beautiful swim-throughs, coral formations, large pinnacles, and over 400 species of fish.
Boat diving and shore diving are widely offered on Grand Cayman with education classes available for both beginners and the more advanced diver.
Dive boats, operated by Red Sail Sports, depart directly from the Beach Suites stretch of Seven Mile Beach as well as from the Grand Cayman Beach Suites Waterway. Scuba Diving classes are taught in the Turtle Pool located in the Beach suites, classroom instruction is also available on site.
